The cozy home offers 48 m² of living space and is ideal for 2 adults and 1 child. In addition to the double bedroom, the sofa bed in the living room provides an extra sleeping option for a child.
Thanks to its elevated location, the house boasts a stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean, the rugged coastline of the northwest, and dramatic sunsets. On clear days, you can even spot the neighboring island La Gomera on the horizon.
Nature lovers will feel right at home – the surrounding area offers scenic trails and walks, including paths leading toward Puerto de Tazacorte, the Barranco de las Angustias, or even up to Roque de los Muchachos.
Traditional Architecture with Rustic Details and Canarian Charm
Inside, the house preserves its authentic Canarian character: high wooden gabled ceilings in every room and rustic country-style furnishings evoke the spirit of a bygone era – yet without sacrificing comfort.
The bright living room features a cozy sofa corner (which can be converted into a bed), a flat-screen satellite TV, a dining table for four, and a split air-conditioning/heating system. From the large window, you can gaze across the flower-filled garden toward the blue Atlantic.
Well-Equipped Kitchenette and Comfortable Sleeping Area
The open kitchen is fully fitted with everything you need for self-catering: a 4-ring ceramic hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine, percolator, toaster, electric juicer, large fridge-freezer, water kettle, and a washing machine are all available.
The bedroom, located at the rear of the house, offers two pushed-together single beds (each 0.90 x 2.00 m), a large built-in wardrobe, and a peaceful sea view.
The bathroom is small but functional and features a shower, wash basin, toilet, and bidet. A hair dryer and electric radiator are also provided for cooler evenings.
Covered Terrace and Flower Garden for Relaxing Moments
The roofed terrace in front of Casa Tío Juan is a wonderful spot to relax, enjoy a meal, or sip a glass of wine at sunset. It’s furnished with a table and two chairs, offering a private corner to soak in the peace of La Palma’s countryside.
The garden, lovingly arranged with blooming flowers, native shrubs, and herbs, creates a colorful oasis. Two sun loungers and a sun umbrella invite you to sunbathe or simply unwind and listen to the birds. A small vegetable and herb patch lies behind the house and may offer seasonal ingredients for your cooking.
A barbecue grill is also available, and private parking is provided directly in front of the house.
