El Rodadero, affectionately known in the area as Casa Tía Herminia, offers a welcoming blend of traditional architecture, modern amenities, and sustainable living powered by a 7 kWp solar photovoltaic system.
You’ll enter through a glazed winter garden with a seating area, perfect for a sunny breakfast or cosy evenings. Next to it, the covered outdoor grill invites you to prepare delicious island meals.
Inside, the open-plan living space features a comfortable sofa by the fireplace, satellite TV, and a quaint antique tea-wood chest used as a coffee table. The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need for self-catering: ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, and more.
The fibre-optic WiFi ensures you can stay connected – whether you’re on a working holiday or streaming your favourite series.
Stylish Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Two spacious bedrooms offer restful sleep:
- Master bedroom with double bed (1.50 x 2.00 m, no footboard) and en suite bathroom with a bathtub
- Second bedroom with two single beds (0.90 x 2.00 m each) and a separate shower room
Each room is tastefully decorated and includes a large wardrobe. The typical Palmeran gable roofs give the house an airy, cosy atmosphere.
Outdoor Oasis with Pool and Views
The outdoor area is a true highlight, offering multiple terraces, a well-tended garden, and a heated private pool (7 x 3 m) with outdoor shower and ambient lighting.
Thanks to the movable arched pool cover, you can enjoy a swim in any weather: open it on warm days or keep it closed during cooler evenings. Even without heating, the water stays comfortably warm under the cover – and for an even more luxurious experience, pool heating is available on request.
Relax on the sun loungers, dine on the terrace, or enjoy a glass of Palmeran wine while watching the sunset over the Atlantic. The delicate scent of jasmine in the evening air rounds off this truly peaceful setting.
Location & Surroundings
Puntagorda is one of La Palma’s most beloved villages, known for its mild climate, unspoiled nature, and slow travel charm. The village offers small supermarkets, a wholefood store, an internet café, several restaurants and bars, and the famous “Mercadillo de Puntagorda”, a weekend farmer’s market with fresh produce and local handicrafts.
The area is also a hiking paradise – and the hosts are happy to provide hiking poles on request.
